“Wizkid Can Never Drop A Hit Song Like Ojuelegba Again” – DO YOU AGREE?

Since the major outburst of Ojuelegba during the last lap of 2014, a tune that cemented the Starboy’s relevances Internationally.

Wizkid has been wallowing in the success of this mega hit song that share its tittle with the metropolitan subsection of Lagos Mainland “Ojuelegba“.

The Lengendary Beatz produced tune highlights Wizkid’s struggles as an underground artist, who roamed the streets of Ojuelegba to support his recording interest.

Ojuelegba is an indisputable hit song in the whole of Africa as it tears charts aparts, break milestones, and also paved ways for the author, Wizkid.

Mindblowing achievement of the song is that, Ojuelegba ranked number 12 on the list of the 107 Best Songs of 2015 compiled by The Fader magazine. Amazing achievement indeed.

It’s a known fact that ever since the paroxysm of Ojuelegba, Wizkid hit making prowess witnessed a nosedive, however we enjoyed Soco amidst others.

Soco was a great song from the starboy family as they further harnessed the Afro beat sound to their advantage.

But never in this life can we compare Soco wave making to that of Ojuelegba, that’s like comparing apples and oranges.

The major strength Wizkid still has until now in the music industry can be attributed to those accolades and recognition Ojuelegba gave him as at when it drops.

Yesterday, Wizkid was called up on stage with legendary Canadian rapper, Drake at 02 Arena in London and the media space was saturated all over by the news.

If not for Ojuelegba, Wizkid might not be opportune to meet Drake, don’t come for me for this though, cause its a fact and I wasn’t the one that opined it.

Hence, We all notice that Wizkid have been performing below par in his craft and I doubt he can ever dish out a tune as motivational, Afro pop inclined as Ojuelegba again.

That’s my own verdict about Wizkid ability to drop a song as heavy as Ojuelegba again, cause he’s now a playful act, and I don’t think he can do as serious as he did on Ojuelegba again.

So Guys

Do You Think Wizkid Will Ever Drop A Song As Big As Ojuelegba Again?
